So the name of Pench National Park is renamed in the year 2002 to Indira Priyadarshani Pench National Park. The reason for changing the name of the park is that it is their way to show honor to the late Indira Gandhi, who was the late Prime Minister of India.

The story was about a boy who was raised by wolves in the jungle. The jungle is assumed to be Pench National Park because the book mentioned that the jungle is located in the district of Seoni and Chhindwara. The district is situated in the states of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. 

This national park attracted many tourists because of this fictional story. This park is home to 40 Bengal Tiger, 39 species of mammals, 13 species of reptiles, more than 210 species of birds, and 3 species of amphibians according to the data.

Jabalpur Airport: This airport is located in the Jabalpur District. Jabalpur is positioned in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This airport is at a distance of around 213 km from Pench National Park. This airport is good for people who are traveling domestically. You can even find taxis easily to reach the park from the airport. 

 

2. By Bus: When you are traveling by bus, there is nothing better than going to the part of Madhya Pradesh. Seoni Railway Station: When you are traveling by train, we would suggest that you should go to Seoni Railway Station which is located in Madhya Pradesh. Seoni is the best option to reach Pench National Park because it is the nearest railway station. It is located at a distance of 72 km.

Jabalpur Railway Station: On the other hand, Jabalpur Railway Station is the other option but not the best one because it is a bit far from the national park. This railway station is situated in the state of Maharastra. This railway station is located at a distance of 205 km from the national park.
